This is your Morselicious call to March into Nutrition Month! March is also Autoimmune Awareness, Colorectol Cancer Awareness, and Women’s History, and this week is Brain Awareness Week.
I was honored to teach a self-care workshop for the New Women’s Business Center of East Los Angeles in honor of International Women’s Day which will be available in my shop soon.
Here’s a bit about the workshop: As we reflect on some of the amazing women this month we share how Arianna Huffington, one of the biggest advocates regarding self-care, sleep, setting boundaries, and eating clean, real, whole foods aligns perfectly with our featured expert, Maura Knowles whose Morselicious Mission is in building our Life Pie, a recipe for a full life.
Consider booking me for your next retreat, company wellness outing, or private group workshop. Schedule a call to learn more.
March is a time of renewal and Spring is just around the corner. We gained an extra hour of daylight this past weekend and while we lost an hour of sleep, I’ve discovered a few tips to combat the “jet lag” feeling. Get to bed 15 minutes earlier each night until your body adjusts. Also, do some type of exercise outdoors in the morning to wake up your body and signal a new day. Both of these tips help adjust, I promise!
March is also one of my favorite holidays, hint hint, ’tis the wearin’ o’ the green, the eatin’, and drinkin’ o’ the green. You know I love a green smoothie! St. Patrick’s Day is the 17th and I created a non-alcoholic Irish Coffee recipe for Vitacost which I hope you’ll try. Do you have any special traditions or meals you make on St. Patrick’s Day? Growing up, my mom made corned beef, cabbage, and carrots. I still make scones or soda bread, now Morselfied, of course, and indulge in the delectably delicious grass-fed-Irish butter, nothing beats it!
In loving memory of my dear friends, Suzy and Nancy.
