Do you dress up for Halloween? I do with festive flair, but I haven’t yet decided on my final costume. Last year, I dressed up on the eve of Halloween and donned another costume on Halloween…just because. 🙂 I’d love to see your Halloween costumes here or on Instagram. Feel free to tag me.
How about your favorite Halloween treats or tricks? I know you have one or two. My favorite treats have always been chocolate-peanut butter anything! But now I morselfy them and make my own without the sugar, and yes, they definitely satisfy. As far as tricks, I prefer sharing tips, but as a kid, one of my favorite tricks was my sister’s and my make-shift haunted house exhibits. One year, our parents turned our garage into a haunted house, and we blindfolded our friends and directed their hands into a plunging cold bowl of spaghetti noodles. I echoed in my spookiest voice that they were entering the dungeon of ghoulish brains and guts. Then, we moved onto the bowl of peeled grapes…you get the idea. I was a bit obsessed with horror movies and loved playing the eerie party tricks. Note: Dad loved both, too.👻
You couldn’t pay me to play them now, lol. But…I’m happy to share one of my favorite Morselicious treats!
Try my cocoa peanut butter truffles recipe from last month’s newsletter.
I’m working on pumpkin spice holiday muffins…stay tuned.🎃
Happy October, my friends, please support the Teal Pumpkin Project for those of us with food allergies on Halloween. Share some allergy-friendly treats with the little goblins or trick-or-treaters.
