With Halloween only 4 days away, have you
decided on a costume?
I’ve always LOVED dressing up for Halloween!
Alright..I always LOVED dressing up-PERIOD!
This is how I dressed up last year….in SEPTEMBER!
Here’s an early childhood photo of my sister and I dressed up as
“Gypsies!” We loved being gypsies! Look at that ROUGE job I did on my cheeks! Even my sister couldn’t stop staring at my cheeks!
One year, my childhood best friend, Christiane and I got huge cardboard boxes
and wrapped them in
Christmas Paper and cut out holes for our arms and legs
and stuck a bow on our heads. We wore candy cane pajamas and told fellow “Trick OR Treater’s” we were their CHRISTMAS
PRESENTS.
SOOOOOOO clever…we were! 🙂
Then we went through a dress up phase
trying to be “PUNK ROCKERS!
Notice…it wasn’t even Halloween. See the Christmas Tree? 🙂
I just had to share this adorable photo of my favorite dog, a pug!
I’m sure the pug doesn’t think it’s so adorable.
We never dressed up our dogs and for that, I believe
they were truly THANKFUL!
But, I can’t help myself oohing and aahing over these
adorable photos. Does that make me a horrible hypocrite?
HORRIBLE HYPOCRITE? Sounds like a Harry Potter Character. What would HH wear?
I’m still deciding what to dress up as Monday Night.
I have a favorite TWIGGY FROM MARS Neon Green
Dress and a bright orange SKINNY PUMPKIN “Tickle Me Elmo” Coat.
I suppose I could combine the two and call myself a LEAN GREEN PUMPKINI?
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Today, Thursday, I’m thankful I LOVE to make fun of myself and celebrate life
and humor and all that is not too serious!
How about you?
What are you thankful for today?
I don’t need fake sugary candy to celebrate Halloween. I’ve always
preferred home baked goods/treats and a cup of Hot Cocoa,
now Spicy Hot Cocoa and a nice warm fire…if the weather would just stay cool
…I would be EXTREMELY THANKFUL!!
REMINDER: Please stop by the GREEN FESTIVAL
GOOD FOOD STAGE
Saturday at 12 noon
and see my MORSELICIOUS MIX at work
and preview THE 12 days of MORSELICIOUSNESS Cookbook!
You come up with the funniest photos–and of course I have the one of you and Nani…but the pug takes the cake. Poor pug…I think the SPCA should have had a talk with you! 🙂
Ha ha! I haven’t forgotten your pumpkin pudding recipe, Lauren!
Just focused on getting this cookbook finished and then I will create your pudding!!!
xo
Cute post!
MY TREAT: I love homemade “healthy” baked apples. Don’t need a lot to make ’em sweet – but I like to add cinnamon, some toasty nuts or crunchy cereal like Uncle Sam’s and a little smart balance light. The result: delish and nutritish!!
Still trying to come up with a low-fat, no sugar added, pumpkin pudding recipe. hint, hint… ; )
You are welcome!! Want to share yours?
Love this! Thanks for sharing your costume!
Very cute !!
Thanks!
