I had extra Beet Juice from Roasting Beets

and didn’t want to waste so I poured some into my Blender:

Beet Juice

Ice

ScharffenBerger Sweetened Cocoa

Dagoba Unsweetened Cocoa

Cinnamon

Cayenne

So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk

Nutiva Coconut Manna*

Β Note: Β I had an afterthought… you can also add a DOLLOP of Coconut Manna on top

in lieu of Whipped Cream… I’m going to try that next time!

  2. I’m with Gail…I don’t know how you do it. I LOVE beets in all forms that I know–thanks for introducing a new option! I’ve always been curious if someone loves beets are they more likely to love brussel sprouts too? ….I know I do!!

  4. I don’t know how you come up with these recipes, but I’m sure glad you do! I love beets, and this sounds crazy delicious! I mean, beets with chocolate, coconut, cinnamon, cayenne, and So Delicious coconut milk? YUM!

  5. I put them in a shallow pot of water and all
    the juice that seeped out is what I used.
    Maybe I should have called Beet Water?
