Here are 3 of your healthy challenges or obstacles standing in your way of living a MORSELICIOUSly healthy lifestyle with 3 of my solutions to help you on your way…

1      Challenge:  Not drinking enough water

Mo’s solution/suggestion:

Drink a cuppa spicy lemon-ginger water every morning to get you re-hydrated from a night’s sleep, get your blood circulating from the cayenne pepper and detoxify from the benefits of lemon juice plus a boost of vitamin C.

AND/OR

Make a pitcher of Mo’s Fancy Spa Water:

Slice a lemon, cucumber, lime and add fresh mint leaves, if you like.

Add to a cool pitcher of water and keep in the fridge.  Sip throughout the day.

Make a “togo” jug/jar and take with you.  For the office, bring a lemon, lime and cucumber and slice there OR bring a Ziploc baggie of freshly sliced fruits/veggies and add in the office kitchen.
You’ll be hard-pressed NOT to drink 8 cups of your daily recommended water.

Your skin will glow, your joints will lubricate and you will satisfy those fake “hunger” pangs, which are often a sign of dehydration.

2      Challenge:  Not finding time for daily exercise

Mo’s solution/suggestion:

Get moving first thing in the morning.  Get up an extra 20 minutes if you need to retrain your routine.  Try this at least 3 times a week. This week, try Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday OR Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.

The benefits by starting your days off with some “glow” time are endless

PLUS, once it’s done, it’s done. Check that off your list and hop right into the shower.

No more 2 shower days, unless of course, you really need it.

3      Challenge:  Not consuming enough veggies

Mo’s solution/suggestion:

Make a green smoothie for one of your meals.  Try one of my many MORSELICOUS recipes on my blog.  Type in “Green smoothie recipes” into the upper right hand corner “search bar” on www.macnmos.com/the-morselist.

AND, eat a rainbow of a salad with or for lunch or dinner.

Make it hearty by adding in some nuts, seeds, avocado…

again..search for mo’ of my recipes in the search bar.

  2. Great tips! Before trying your 21 Day Ultimate Detox, one of my problems was not consuming enough vegetables. I was quickly able to remedy that problem by drinking your delicious Green Smoothie and choosing a salad from one of the many salad recipes provided. Although I already drink a lot of water, I am definitely going to try your Fancy Spa Water! I never thought my mouth would water thinking about a water recipe! Good Job!
