Another Morselicious Recipe -ASDMTP

I just can’t stay OUT OF THE KITCHEN and I’m LOVING developing and creating recipes to share with my favorite Morselites!

Please let me know if you try this and share your thoughts and tastes!  INTRODUCING:…

A SO Delicious Morselicious TEMPTing Patty Recipe (ASDMTP)

Hemp is a plant-based superfood, an exceptional dairy alternative & a tasty substitute for nuts & soy.

SO is Coconut.

I used both in this Morselicious Vegan/Gluten Free/ Low Sodium/Low Sugar Recipe:

1 TBSP Nutiva Coconut Oil

2-3 Garlic Cloves (diced)

Chopped Green Onion

Sautee over Med-High Heat

Stir in diced or cubed:

Carrots

Zucchini

Organic Yellow Squash

Add a splash of White Wine Vinegar,

Apple Cider Vinegar and

Fresh Lemon Juice

Cook about 9 minutes or until soft.

In a separate bowl, mix a scoop of Living Harvest Hemp Protein Powder (I used the High Protein Formula)

With 1/3 C. Unsweetened SoDelciciousDairyFree Coconut Milk,

Add  2 tsp. Curry Powder, 1-2 tsp.Cumin,

1.5 tsp. Black Pepper & 1tsp. Red Pepper.

Add one can of beans (I used Low Sodium White Kidney Beans, which I rinsed from the can and soaked in water) -if time permits, you can soak your own beans overnight to reduce sodium even more.

Pour the entire mixture into sautee pan over the veggies.

Cook 4-5 minutes.

Set aside and cool.

Once cooled, pour into large bowl and add 2 TBSP Bob’s Red Mill Flax Meal

Shape into patties.

Pan fry in a heated skillet coated with Coconut Oil.

I made 6 smaller patties (0nly 5 made it to the PHOTO!).

Mmmmmmorselicious!

  1. My daughter’s home for a visit and is much better suited to the kitchen than I am….I’ll see if she can make these–they look fantastic! You’re soooo creative Mo!

  2. Hmmm…curry powder in veggie burgers? That’s an intriguing idea! I love that you used protein powder and So Delicious coconut milk, too. Will have to try this recipe very soon! I wonder if they can be cooked on the grill, too?

    1. Hi Felicia,

Yes, these are so tasty!!! Please let me know what you think!
I think they’d be great on the grill, but you might need a bit
      more Coconut Oil?
I pan fried and they stuck together beautifully.
      Thanks for posting a comment!

    1. Hi Kat,

Thanks for posting a comment. I will have to figure out the calories, etc.
But there is 5g of fat in an entire cup of So Delicious Coconut Milk
3g of fat in 1/4 C of Hemp Protein Powder
4.5g of fat in 2 TBSP of Flax Meal
14g of fat in 1 TBSP Coconut Oil
      and the veggies are 0.
I made 6 patties out of my recipe.
Therefore, each patty has roughly 4.4 g of fat
If you’d like me to figure out the calories, etc. please contact me again.
      And, again, thanks for reading!
