Morselicious Monday & making the best of things

Happy MORSELICIOUS MONDAY!

How was your weekend?

Yours truly had a full weekend: a blend of work and play:  studied for big NUTRITION exam, which is today, created and cooked up 4 new recipes, including one for a client and 3 for an upcoming cooking class I’m teaching & Doug was my lucky taste tester!  Worked on a few new accounts for Mac-n-Mo’s, cleaned, shopped for groceries, explored Costco, (always an adventure), hiked, took my dance class with Liz and enjoyed a Matcha Green Tea Latte with unsweetened almond milk afterwards, which replaces the term,

“COFFEE TALK,” into “MATCHA CHAT.” Do you think it will catcha on? Get it?
Catcha. Matcha.  I know, it’s a stretch.

Doug treated me to an incredible one hour massage, which this Morselist needed and very much appreciated! All in all, a FULL weekend! OK, your turn. What did you do? I want details!

Thanks a million morsels in advance!

  1. I’d love your recipe for your Matcha Green Tea Latte, and want to know where you get your Matcha Green Tea. I’ve seen many brands online, but am unsure which one would be best.
    Thanks.

    1. Thanks, Sharen!
I just emailed you. You can find UNSWEETENED Matcha Green Tea powder at most Natural Food Markets and a few online stores. Be careful of the cheap ones as they contain mostly sugar. Have a MORSELICIOUS or a MATCHAlicious day! 🙂

  2. WOW! Very impressive, Tara!
Your band sounds fun and so did your pre-packed meal! Have not tried Zico chocolate coconut water, but now I’m intrigued!
Send us pix of your garden, if you’re willing..sounds lovely!
    🙂

  3. Sounds like Mo the Morcelicious Morselist had a productive and uplifting weekend – Brava!

Tara “T-Bone” had a wonderful Saturday preparing for, and then performing in, a house concert with my band, John Zipperer & Friends. We opened for Mark “Pocket” Goldberg” (Blues on a stand-up bass) and Matt Cartsonis (folk music with an amusing twist) featuring Debra Dobkin on drums and the fabulous Ed Tree – who always touches the heart with his songs. I played a new tune of my own that evening on my ukulele.

Thinking of what I’ve learned from Mac-n-Mo’s blog ( and knowing that the main dish served at this event is pulled pork), I planned ahead and packed a healthy cucumber salad with a gluten-free role on the side. Zico chocolate coconut water kept my cravings in check so i didn’t attack the desert table.

Sunday was all about yoga and trimming vines in my back yard.

Looking forward to hearing about your cooking class!
