Zippity Zip-lining!

Happy Mac-n-Mo’s Morselist Monday!!

This Morselist just returned from an Amazing Alaskan Adventure!!

Certain scenes were so stunning, we kept saying, “It doesn’t look real. It looks like a Film Set.”

But it was real and it was Majestic! Alaska has been on my Bucket List for years, in addition to Zip Lining! And NOTHING was going to stop me from either!! Not even being quarantined! My boyfriend kept saying, “Talk about mind over matter, you really willed this excursion!”

Unfortunately, I caught the horrid Noro Virus and was quarantined for 36 hours.

Talk about feeling unsteady. I was released just in time for our Juneau Excursion, which meant, Zip Lining was still “on the books.”

I was put to the test of facing my fears:

#1 My fear of heights.

#2 My newer fear of losing my morsels, after barely recovering from the Noro Virus, while on a cable line at over 200 feet.

Both fears were faced and dispelled. It was an adventure of a lifetime.

My boyfriend and I had a BLAST, literally and figuratively.

We zip-lined through a Tepid Rain Forest on Douglas Island, Bouillon Moutain, soaring over Ole Glory (an old Gold Mine). Exhilarating and surreal, a recurring theme, as we soared over the canopies of the spectacular Alaskan Rain Forest!

Doug craved morsels for our apres zipping snack!

Have you Zip Lined? What’s on your Bucket List? Please share your experiences & wishes.

Please note, I’ve decided to take Sunday’s off from blogging.

Have a Morselicious Monday and Happy Birthday, Mama!!

  1. What a fabulous adventure!! How long (in distance and time) were you actually on the zip line? Alaska has been on my bucket list for years too! I love facing my fears – so incredibly empowering and confidence building. Glad you’re feeling better Mo!

    1. Yes, it was an amazing adventure! We did a total of 9 zip lines and the longest one lasted about 50 seconds. We lucked out because we were the only 2 on the entire tour!
