Happy Tasty Tuesday!
TOO TOO SWEET TUESDAY!
TOO short on patience Tuesday!
You choose!
I realized today I really have weaned my taste buds when I
tried a new Vegan Protein Powder that was sweetened with
Stevia. Too much stevia.
It was sooooo sweet that even the Kale, Parsley,
Zucchini I added to my Smoothie did NOT cut the sweetness.
Now, I don’t want to name this company brand because
I respect their overall product and mission.
I’d just like to find more Plant Based Protein Powders
that don’t find it necessary to add Sweeteners or Sodium.
It’s a challenge, but Living Harvest does a GREAT job
with their Raw Hemp Protein Powder.
It’s just fun to mix things up once in a while.
I did try Garden of Life RAW PROTEIN Powder and
really enjoyed!
They don’t use sweeteners or sodium, but it’s pricey.
Do you have a FAVORITE PROTEIN POWDER?
Would LOVE to hear from you!!
Who’ have thought an ex sugaraholic would think
a stevia based smoothie with NO fruit was too sweet?
Will wonders never cease!!!
Here’s one of my FAVORITE ICY TREAT Recipes
in honor of Tasty Tuesday and my fave Moreselistes!
I couldn’t even wait to drink it BEFORE taking a photo!
Patience truly is a virtue, one this MORSELIST
has YET to master!
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 C So Delicious Coconut Milk
Ice
1/4 C Beet Juice
1/4 Cup Frozen Pineapple OR 1/4 Frozen Banana
1-2 TBSP Coconut Manna

Hee hee..
That’s an interesting TWIST! 🙂
Happy Tasty Tuesday! Beet, coconut, and pineapple? Intriguing! It sounds like a psychedelic piña colada.
The Bent Spoon, a tiny but hugely popular ice cream shop in Princeton, has a frozen treat that is too good to true. They whip up a frozen banana into such a state that it ends up like soft-serve ice cream. But the only ingredient is banana!
Yummmmm
