“The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones”
-Chinese Proverb
Need I say more? OK….just a few more words…
Like the Snow Monster’s Song in the Animated Christmas Special, SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN, regarding how to learn to walk again.
PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER
AND SOON YOU’LL BE WALKIN’ CROSS THE FLOOR
This is truly the only way we can make any real of change in our lives. Be it, exercise, diet, (and I don’t mean fad diets), lifestyle, relationships, reaching our dreams & goals.
Discipline requires Consistency and action and action is movement and movement is taking one step at a time. One foot in front of the other. Pushing THROUGH our obstacles or mountains by removing one stone at a time.
Now, go carve your path out of stones or make your own little Rock Garden and add a SPLASH of color, just for fun.
Send your stories & /or photos and have a Morselicious Day!
Reminds me of when I started taking piano lessons. All I wanted to do is play Fur Elise. My teacher told me he could teach me how to play it without knowing anything else about piano, and he did…one note at a time.
Great reminder! We need to keep telling ourselves. Sometimes it’s easy to get overwhelmed, but taking it one step at a time always makes it doable!!
