What do you find yourself reminiscing about this Morselicious Holiday Season?
Nostalgic memories flood all five of our senses in technicolor this time o’ year.
For me, it’s the smell of pine trees and cinnamon, the oh so familiar, but never too old Jingle Bells, Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas sung by Bing Crosby, Johnny Mathis, Judy Garland, to name a few.
The sparkle of the twinkling lights, the vibrant greens (my fave) and reds decorating windows, trees and people.
Yes, you have seen The Morselist proudly donning twinkling reds and greens promenading around town. Warning: some of my sparkling twinkles have been known to jingle jangle.
The first sip or slurp* of Morselicious Minty Cocoa (click the link to watch video WITH my recipe) is an extra special treat this time o’ year, especially with all of those visions of sugary-chocolate- covered-plum fairies dancing in my head, causing childhood cravings/withdrawals of sugar overdose, thus the slurp.*
And that crispy chill kissing my cheeks on a morning walk, heavenly bliss, especially with the vision of a mug o’ Minty Cocoa waiting on my stovetop, ready to be warmed and slurped-SIPPED in a cozy chair by the fireplace.
After all, ‘tis the season…
