Yesterday, it snowed in Los Angeles! There are few things I never dreamed…1) snow in L.A. & 2) owning my own healthy baked goods company, carving a new path for eating treats! There are a few more, but that’s another blog! The first 2 dreams mentioned have been realized and now it’s snowing Mac-n-Mo’s Morsels at Vicente Foods. Since Mac-n-Mo’s contain ZERO preservatives, they need to be kept refrigerated or frozen unless eaten immediately. Real-Whole Foods are NOT supposed to have an extended shelf life. This has proven to be quite a challenge when introducing Mac-n-Mo’s to stores. And a few stores have met the challenge! As of Monday, February 28th! Mac-n-Mo’s is moving to the Freezer Aisle #6 at Vicente Foods in Brentwood (Los Angeles, CA). This Morselist will be doing a demo at Vicente Foods Monday, February 28th at 12 noon. Mac-n-Mo’s will now be available in the Freezer Aisle #6 next to Dr. Prager’s Patties, above the Gluten Free Brownie Mix. They are already baked, just need to be thawed or reheated for 10 seconds AND some Morsel Fans, LOVE to eat them frozen!
So, grab a Hot Cup O’ Joe or Cocoa & enjoy your MAC-n-MO’s!
Vicente Foods will still carry a few on the Cookie Shelf Aisle #4.
Moral of the story? Dream outside the box..sure, you may end up inside another box, but it could be the one you started to unwrap.

There is a generation of people now who understand that “treats” without shelf lives are found in the freezer section. I think you are going to find a whole new audience because you are in the freezer section. Good idea.
