Thank you’s

How do you say THANK YOU?

Is it through words, a note, a gesture, flowers?  Sharing a cup of tea or coffee with someone?  Helping someone through a tough time? Helping someone with daily routines?

Do you take the time to express thanks?

Do you take a moment for yourself and give thanks for your life, your health, your family, your friends, your freedom, your sense of humor?

I’ve read some recent articles about the LOST ART of Thank you’s and I don’t want to believe we’ve lost it, maybe we  just need to be nudged a bit….OK, some of us, may need to be pushed a bit more.

The simple gesture of saying thank you can make someone’s entire day, week, month, year, LIFE! (I’ve a flare for the dramatics.)

Remember everyone loves to be thanked. On that note, I’d like to thank you, my Morselicious readers for all your support & humor during the first few months of The Morselist Blog and welcome your continued comments and suggestions!

  1. Isn’t collective consciousness amazing?! I just spent a few hours in my Thank You book on Friday, writing a eulogy for my high school best friend who passed. How thankful I am to have had her in my life. How thankful I am for everything she taught me & everything we shared. How thankful I am for her wonderful family & everything they were to her. That said, I realize how important it is to thank everyone in our life for everything they bring to it while they are still here. Soooo, thank you Mo. I want you to know how much appreciate you and your contribution to improving my life and the lives of others. You’re a treasure! XO

  2. Flowers are nice, but I LOVE receiving hand-written thank you notes…someone taking their TIME to write means so much! I’m with you–hoping the art of thanking is never lost and your post was just the right nudge 🙂

  3. And Thank you, for your timely inspiration. You always seem to have just the right message that I need.
