I was in serious need for a diet, life style, de-stress tune up.
Mo took the time to listen to my “Life”. She analyzed my poor choices or habits causing the extra stress and suggested how to handle it as well as made me figure out, on my own, to pin point my poor diet choices, by analyzing my food diary- eye opening! We shared our thoughts together weekly and discussed what goals to set for next week.
She assists you to make better choices…soon I found myself subtly changing those bad habits and improving my well being with out making vast changes that I may forget or choose to ignore down the road- changing your lifestyle is not a quick fix.
I’m happy to say, from our first 3 weekly session’s, I picked up some great tips and easily sticking with them. It’s incredibly helpful to have a sounding board and Mo engages you whole-heartledy, you at your pace, to meet your goals! I highly recommend time with the Morselist!
My first instruction to Maura (Mo) in our coaching was NOT to be turned into a vegetarian. I am a meat-a-saurus through and through. She was so accommodating and encouraging. I went from using artificial sweeteners and cream in my coffee every morning to using natural alternative sweeteners and no dairy! I was so amazed at myself that I could do it. Mo is so encouraging and nurturing.
She doesn’t make you do anything that you don’t want to do. You just have to be clear with yourself on your goals. Changing your lifestyle isn’t easy, believe me, I know. As previously stated, I am a meat and cheese guy through and through. Mo found alternatives that are amazing! Nothing worthwhile in this life is easy, but in the long term, you will appreciate what Mo does for you. Stick to it, and don’t give up!
The Morselist has inspired me to think outside the box with cooking and eating. Her recipes are creative, clean, nutritious and morselicious!
Mo’s inspiration to integrate a healthy, positive attitude in to your life and carry it over in to how that is supported by what you eat has been an important factor in maintaining consistency in my diet and lifestyle!
I AM SO ADDICTED TO THE MIX! I wanted to cut to the chase and say it, but honestly, I use Mac N’ Mo’s Morselicious Mix for everything- pancakes, muffins, morsels, and sometimes I even mix it with a little bit of peanut butter and just eat it. I don’t always get a chance to buy the morsels, but I am NEVER without the mix!
Waffle request from my girls this morning…even the baby loved them too! I’m a bit obsessed with my waffle maker-Used my new fav mix from Mac-n-Mo’s Magical Morsels…just added an egg, coconut oil, baking powder/soda and almond milk. Note to self: coconut oil solidifies when added to cold milk/mix-used more warm milk and mix to melt it down and get batter perfect-I am not a baker, so this was a great learning experience for me! So this is cool – I am a total compulsive overeater (no, that’s not the cool part). Once I start, I can’t stop. Now yes, I could have eaten all of them, but I was able to stop at two morsels! So that tells me they don’t have all the nasty binge inducing stuff that most treats do, yet they taste like one AND they’re satisfying. What’s not to love?

The number one thing I learned from this detox is as long as you prepare anything is possible. Sunday has become my day to prepare for the week and it’s a healthy habit I have kept up. A quick and convenient tip for the future, pre-pack you’re your meals in recycled jars for the week. I also loved that Mo allowed wiggle room (her 85/15 rule) and her “topsy-turvy” substitutions within her program making it perfectly manageable for everyone with any type of schedule.
