No one on this planet would ever look to me for cooking suggestions. Luckily I know some people that DO know what they’re talking about! One of them: Maura Knowles from Mac-n-Mos. I interviewed Maura (Mo) for one of my Power of Love posts. She’s created a whole line of tasty and healthful products for Mac-n-Mos especially for her father a diabetic and heart patient. A new offering from Mo is her ebook (click for more info): 12 Days of MORSELICIOUSNESS! Just in time for the Holidays – The Go Green Guy would like to introduce my friend Mo and her new e-cookbook – “12 days of MORSELICIOUSNESS”

Who is Mo and what is a Morselist?

Mo, the Morselist created Mac-n-Mo’s Morselicious Treats for her Dad, Mac, a diabetic and heart patient. Her morsels are Vegan, Gluten Free, Kosher, contain NO Sodium, 1g Sugar, NO preservatives, NO hidden sweeteners but they are filled with oodles of LOVE! Her new Morselicious Mix has all of the above qualities PLUS 0g sugar! Since starting her business at the end of December 2010, Mo has embodied and inspired a fun-healthy lifestyle and began writing her blog as The Morselist.

“I purposely do not call my treats cookies as they do not contain sugar, butter, salt, eggs, preservatives, etc., so I named them morsels and thus began my path living and educating people on the benefits of a Morselicious Lifestyle.”

I created Mac-n-Mo’s Morseli- cious Treats for my dad, Mac, a diabetic and heart patient. Each morsel is Vegan/Gluten Free/No Sodium/ 0-1g Sugar and No preservatives, and contains oodles of LOVE!

Since starting my business at the end of December, 2010, I have embodied and inspired a fun and healthy lifestyle, and began writing a blog as The Morselist.

I purposely do not call my treats cookies as they do not contain sugar, butter, salt, eggs, or preservatives. So I named them morsels and, thus, began my fun, yet challenging path living and educating people
on the benefits of a Morselicious Lifestyle.

A Morselicious life includes: • Indulging in all life offers you:

  • Giving yourself at least 20 minutes a day JUST FOR YOU
  • Choosing tasty/real/whole foods
  • Eating mindfully and graciously
  • Reading nutritional labels
  • Cutting back on sugar and sodium from processed foods
  • Getting on your glow (preferably at least 20 minutes ofexercise every day)
  • Adding color (natural color) to your meals/plates/bowls
  • Experimenting with new tastes, foods, experiences
  • Spending time with loved ones, daily
  • Expressing gratitude • Knowing we all have choices and deciding to choose
  • And when we make mistakes, because we will, be open to learning from them, get the lead out and continue moving…

After searching store after store for a sweet treat, and finding nothing for Dad’s sweet tooth, Maura tried to make him something. Several batches, and she found the morsel that went straight to her Dad’s stomach and heart, and decided to offer her morsels to the public.
